African Bloodstone Jasper

African Bloodstone Jasper, also known as seftonite is a form of chalcedony and jasper. The green color comes from chlorite inclusions, while the red spots are due to iron oxide. African Bloodstone Jasper contain a glassy or waxy luster and opaque to translucent. These pieces are polished into the shape of a obelisk.
