Genuine Baltic Amber formed millions of years ago during the Paleogene Period 34-48 Million years ago.  Baltic amber is known for its honey golden hue.  Amber is formed from sticky tree resin that captures the bugs and hardens over time.  

This collector's piece of prehistoric history includes what appears to be a two whole bugs, likely flies/gnats to the order of Diptera.  It looks like there is a partial third fly too.  It is expertly polished in the Baltics.  This collector's piece is 100% authentic.  

It weighs 4 grams and measures about 3.1 cm by 2.2 cm and about 5 cm thick
