Fluorite with Pyrite

Pyrite forms on fluorite though hydrothermal deposition. The fluorite will form first, with the pyrite coating parts of it as the temperatures and pressure change. 

UV 365 pops a light blue color

This specimen is from China.  Due to the pyrite, it is a little heavy for its size.  Nice piece showing the hydrothermal deposition. Measuring 2.2 in height, 5 inches in length, and 2.5 inches in width. Weighing 1.6 pounds. Customer will receive the exact item pictured.
