Freeform Snowflake Fluorite B

Snowflake Fluorite has the brilliant color of rainbow fluorite with splashed of white sunburst resembling snowflakes.  This piece is polished on three sides and to a point with one side left rough.

Fluorite (also called fluorspar) is a calcium fluoride that belongs to the halide minerals. It commonly has a cubic structure but can occasionally form in octahedrals. With a hardness of 4 on the Mohs scale, a clear transparency, and color ranging from purple, green, yellow, blue and red. Fluorite has a unique feature of frequently being fluorescent and is often associated with other attractive minerals like galena, pyrite, chalcopyrite, barite, sphalerite, calcite, and quartz. 

Measuring 4 inches in height, .15 inches wide and about 1 inch in depth. Weighing 0.5 pounds. Customer will receive the exact piece pictured.
