Hematite quartz, also known as hematoid quartz, is a type of quartz crystal that contains hematite inclusions. Hematoid quartz can exhibit small black or red-brown inclusions, often referred to as "stars" or "clouds" within the quartz. These pieces are polished into the shape of a palm stone.
