Iolite Obelisk

Iolite is a mineral containing cordierite, a magnesium iron aluminum cyclosilicate. Commonly found in metamorphic rocks. This mineral forms under high-pressure and high-temperature conditions and also has a vitreous luster. Iolite is typically shades of blue, violet, grey, or brown. These pieces are polished into the shape of a obelisk.
