Large Aragonite Dish

Polished Aragonite bowl from Morocco.

This looks like calcite to us, but Morocco is calling it aragonite.  They are both very similar having the same chemical formula CaCO3.  Both have the same hardness but they do vary slightly in density.  And who says geology is boring!

Measuring 8.3 in length, 8.5 in height, and 2 inches in width. Weighing  1.62 pounds. Customer will receive exact item pictured.
