Ocean Jasper was found in Madagascar as new discovery in 2000, exclusively found near the shore of the Ambolobozo Peninsula. Only becoming accessible during low tide. 

It is classified as a type of orbicular jasper, technically a spherulitic chalcedony, with quartz and feldspar forming the orbs that are seen.
