Polished Rainbow Obsidian Slab

Polished rainbow obsidian slab from Mexico. 

The name "rainbow" obsidian comes from the phenomenon known as structural coloration. An iridescent, rainbow like sheen appearing when light reflects off of the mineral inclusions and air bubbles within the black volcanic glass. This particular product flashes purple when held under flashlight, and natural lighting.
