Scolecite Tower

Scolecite is a unique mineral that belongs to the zeolite group, characterized by a three-dimensional framework of tetrahedral structures and crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal system. Scolecite is typically white or colorless but can sometimes appear pink, yellow or green. The luster has a vitreous to pearly luster depending on the specific crystal surface. These pieces are polished into the shape of a tower.
