Freeform Septarian A

Septarian are carbonate rich concretions containing angular cavities and cracks filled with hardened material.  Mud or siltstone occupy the darker areas, while calcites occupy the voids and cracks  The mudstone and calcite contain iron.  

This display piece has brilliant contracting colors and is polished into a freeform. Measuring 5.5 inches in length and height, and 3.2 inches in width. Weighing 1.5 pounds. Customer will receive the exact piece pictured.
