Snowflake Obsidian Obelisk

Snowflake obsidian is a type of volcanic glass that includes gray inclusions called cristobalite, a form of quartz. Snowflake obsidian forms when felsic lava cools rapidly forming a glassy texture. Snowflake obsidian is black with gray to white cristobalites. These pieces are polished into the shape of a obelisk.
