Sphalerite with Calcite Elmwood Tennessee

A beautiful specimen hails from Elmwood Tennessee.  It is a zinc/iron sulfide with a yellow streak.  The Elmwood mine is a world famous mine for sphalerlte and other minerals.  The mine is closed so no more specimens are expected to be mined.
