Zebra "Onyx" Triceratops

Polished and hand carved zebra "onyx" triceratops.

Measuring  6 inches in length, 3 inches in height, and 1.5 inches in width. Weighing 0.8 pounds. Customer will receive the exact piece pictured. 

By trade name only, this "onyx" is actually calcite since it fizzes with hydrochloric acid solution.; The rock industry leaves the naming to the miners and lapidary shops who classify most calcites with with waves and lines as "onyx". We know, a little confusing.; Onyx on the other hand is basically micro-quartz and will not fizz in an acid solution
